Deionizers

Deionizers (DI) Systems require a mix of design and experience. At The Robert B. Hill Co. we have strength in both aspects to produce a superior product. Each system is custom designed to meet your specifications and with high quality components to ensure the longevity of your equipment.

Deionizers fall into two different categories. The first category is exchange tanks. Exchange tanks are for customers that do not want to deal with the caustic and acid chemicals that are required to regenerate their DI tanks. The exchange tanks typically have a monitor light and let the customer know when their tanks need to be regenerated. When tanks need to be regenerated the customer simply ships them back to The Robert B. Hill Co. to be regenerated. Exchange tanks are typically for use in smaller applications that do not require a tremendous amount of water on a daily basis. They also are typically used on lower flow applications.

The second category is a complete DI system. A complete DI system automatically regenerates based on water usage. The system pulls caustic and acid chemicals from chemical tanks located near the DI system. A complete DI system is used when higher flow rates are required and when a higher volume of water is needed on a daily basis.
